This 16-bed group home features an open floor plan on the main floor, surrounded by clusters of four bedrooms, ensuring both communal engagement and privacy.
Client Drivers & Unique Features:
- Community and Interaction: The design prioritizes fostering a sense of community and encouraging social interactions. Spaces are scaled from public to private, with tall ceilings in communal areas and shorter ceilings in bedrooms to create distinct zones.
- Accessibility: Ensuring accessibility is paramount, with clear and defined entrances, easy-to-navigate spaces, and additional floor area to meet wheelchair clearance requirements. Utilitarian design principles are applied to support the elderly community and individuals with disabilities.
