The ColoradoBiz 500 Power List, published by ColoradoBiz magazine in its Spring 2026 edition, recognizes the state’s most influential business leaders. The Architects category highlights top Colorado architects selected by the ColoradoBiz editorial team with community input.
Alex Gore and Lance Cayko Rank at the Top of Colorado Architects List
Gore and Cayko appear at the top of the 2026 Architects list. This recognition positions F9 Productions as a leader among the best Colorado architects and top Colorado architects. Their Longmont based design build firm, founded in 2009, has earned four consecutive Best of Mile High Awards for Best Architecture Firm in the Denver Metropolitan Area. The firm has also previously ranked number one on BizWest’s Mercury 100 list and is a seven time best of Houzz Winner.

Alex Gore serves as co-founder and principal architect of F9 Productions. He holds a Master of Architecture and Construction Management from North Dakota State University. Gore trained under world renowned architect Daniel Libeskind in New York. He has lectured at the University of Colorado Boulder for more than 11 years. Gore also co-hosts the globally ranked Inside the Firm podcast alongside his partner and has authored the book The Creativity Code. Notable award-winning projects include the Architizer A+ Award winning Atlas Tiny House and Johnson’s Corner which took home a 2025 Architecture MasterPrize Honorable Mention.
About Lance Cayko, Recognized Among Top Colorado Architects
Lance Cayko serves as co-founder and principal architect of F9 Productions. He earned his Master of Architecture from North Dakota State University, where he received the McKenzie Thesis Award. Cayko has more than three decades of experience in construction and design. For nearly 13 years he lectured at CU Boulder, co-hosts the globally ranked Inside the Firm podcast along side his partner, and founded the non-profit Longmont Community Gardens. Under his leadership, F9 Productions delivers innovative, award winning architecture and construction projects across Colorado.
