Innovative Design

The 49th and Green project redefines the concept of modern, stylish architecture

Cost and Environmental Efficiency

Environmentally friendly, but just as good for the wallet

49th and Green is a state-of-the-art, modern condo complex that marries style, practicality, and environmental consideration in one compact package.

Densify, densify, densify! Located in Colorado’s capitol city of Denver, where an insufficient housing supply has been a particularly prominent discussion, the 49th & Green Townhomes project seeks to increase housing density and look good while doing it. This multi-family residential development provides an astounding 12 townhomes on a site that would otherwise see as much as maybe three single family homes.

While “Green” is in fact the name of one of the intersecting roads to this corner lot, the street name also informed a few of the project’s aesthetic and functional decisions. Namely, the color of the siding of course, but “green” also speaks to the site’s ample vegetation and the shade structures above many of the windows that keep the hot sun out while allowing ambient natural light in.

Starting from the ground level, you’ll find a spacious garage, providing secure storage for vehicles and other items of course. Access to these garages is strictly from the development’s interior alleys in order to consolidate vehicular movement and keep the street-facing building faces pedestrian friendly and verdant.

A few steps up and we find ourselves on the main floor, which encompasses a stylishly designed living room, kitchen, and dining room. The linear arrangement of these spaces allows for openness between all facets of daily life, from lounging, to cooking, to eating, and everything in between. This level also includes a convenient half bath, perfect for guests.

Finally, crowning the building is the rooftop patio. Perfect for parties, recreation, or just lounging in the evenings, this space offers an unbeatable view of the sunset.
